Design & Configuration

The standard 7001 bearing is supplied as an open type for custom lubrication regimes or easy inspection. The ZZ suffix adds non-contact steel shields for basic contamination protection with minimal friction increase. For fully sealed, maintenance-free applications, the 2RS version with contact rubber seals is recommended. The contact angle is key: choose 15° (C) for high-speed, 25° (AC) for balanced load/speed, or 40° (B) for maximum axial stiffness.
